We would love to invite contributions to our AGU26 session:
NH052 — Toward Reliable and Scalable Geohazard Intelligence: From Multiscale Sensing to Open Data Foundations
Geohazard research increasingly draws on observations collected across different scales, locations, and sensing systems. This session brings those pieces together, with a focus on making geohazard intelligence more reliable, scalable, interpretable, and useful in real-world settings.
We welcome contributions on:
- Multimodal and generative geospatial foundation models, including agentic and multi-agent approaches
- Integration of multiscale and multimodal sensing with ML/AI for pre- and post-event geohazard assessment across diverse environments
- Interpretable and knowledge-guided ML/AI for revealing geohazard drivers and physical mechanisms
- Robust ML/AI in extreme and data-scarce scenarios, including cross-region transfer, uncertainty quantification, real-time data fusion, and parameter-efficient tuning
- Open-source, multiscale, AI-ready geohazard datasets and benchmarks for model pre-training, adaptation, evaluation, and real-world deployment
