Neetesh Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. With a background in civil engineering and statistics, he conducts interdisciplinary research incorporating economics, data science, governance, insurance, and emergency response to bring a holistic approach to solving complex challenges in disaster resilience.

Before his current position, he completed postdoctoral work at the Stanford Urban Resilience Initiative, graduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and undergraduate studies at NIT Trichy, India.
