About

Yi Hong, PhD, is an Assistant Research Scientist working at the Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research (CIGLR). His research aims to (1) improve understanding of hydrologic processes across urban, watershed, and coastal scales; (2) promote modeling approaches to assess and mitigate hazard risks related to extreme events and anthropogenic activities; and (3) enhance integrated modeling to describe interactions between hydrologic and social systems under climate change.
